Trip execution

How does a driver manage a trip in FleetQore?

When a branch assigns a trip, the driver receives a push notification with booking details. The app guides them through the pre-trip inspection, provides navigation to the pickup point, and tracks trip progress in real time. Post-trip, the driver completes a return inspection with photo capture and collects a digital customer signature before closing the booking.

FAQ

Driver App — frequently asked questions

What does the FleetQore Driver App cover?

The driver app covers the full trip lifecycle: receiving assignments, navigating to the customer, completing pre-trip and post-trip digital inspections, capturing photo evidence, collecting digital signatures, and reporting incidents — all connected to the branch dispatch console in real time.

Does the driver app work offline?

Yes. Core trip functions including inspection checklists and photo capture work in offline mode. Records sync automatically when connectivity is restored.

How do digital inspections work in the driver app?

Before each trip, the driver completes a pre-trip checklist with photo capture per inspection point. After the trip, a post-trip inspection records the vehicle return condition with customer signature. Both records are attached to the booking and stored in the audit trail.

Can dispatchers see driver location in real time?

Yes. The branch dispatch console shows live driver location for all active trips, enabling the team to update ETAs, reroute drivers, and respond to delays before they breach SLA.

Integration

How the Driver App connects to the FleetQore platform

The Driver App is Layer 3 of the FleetQore platform — the execution layer that closes the loop between branch dispatch and the customer. Every trip assigned in the Branch Operations Panel appears as a push notification in the driver's app within seconds. The driver completes a pre-trip inspection before leaving — and those inspection records attach directly to the booking, so branch staff and HQ managers can see the vehicle condition record without requesting it. Live driver location is visible to both the branch dispatch console and to the customer in the User App throughout the trip.

When a driver reports an incident or damage, the notification reaches the branch immediately and the record enters the booking audit trail — visible in the HQ Control Center. When a driver completes a post-trip inspection and collects a digital signature, that record closes the booking in the platform and triggers settlement. The entire driver lifecycle — from assignment to sign-off — is structured, documented, and connected to every other layer of the platform.
